The City of Boulder Human Relations Commission is soliciting proposals from local organizations that would like to participate in the Third Annual Indigenous Peoples Day, to be held on Monday, October 8, 2018. This year, the Boulder Arts Commission is offering enhancement funding for proposals that include an arts component.
Community groups and organizations are eligible for grants with a maximum amount of $1,500 for each event. The Boulder Arts Commission has an enhancement grant of up to $2,000 available per event.
Funding priority criteria includes:
• Community-initiated event
• Nonprofit agency/group
• Free and open to the public
• Event to be held within Boulder city limits
• Event to be held on Oct. 8, 2018
Funds must be used for events that encourage understanding and appreciation of Indigenous Peoples, their traditions, culture and our shared history in these ancestral lands known as Boulder Valley.
Proposals must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 29. Information on application can be found on the Human Relations Commission website.
